Update

I really need to keep up with this if I want to be a make-up doing superstar huh?

I guess when you get too many ideas in your head you just don’t know where to start!  I’m going to aim to use this blog to update you the wonderful (and might I add gorgeous) reader on my work, as well as the current make-up trends and products, and sometimes just for fun some how-tos, do-it-yourselfs and all those other hyphenated multi words.

I actually recently just finshed some male grooming & make-up for a music video by a wonderfully talented band called Rookie Of The Year. The video comes out November 17th if I’m not mistaken and when it’s out I’ll post it. It really was a great time and the crew was one of the best I have ever worked with.

Coming up I’ll be working with NVEY Eco one of my favorite green lines and doing a little event at Douglas Cosmetics in Philadelphia, I’m so excited-I’ve never been to Douglas before, but I love the fabulous people of Philadelphia and it is always a pleasure to go there and of corse support the amazing NVEY Eco!

Well, ’til later. I will  try to post some pictures from the Rookie Of The Year video shoot along with some behind the scenes they filmed.

Hugs.

My 5 personal make-up bag must haves.

1-Laura Gellar Balance N Brighten.

This is a phenomenol powder that is actually a baked liquid! When using  this powder I personally like to apply it with a kabuki brush to get a little extra coverage, I don’t even need to use a basic liquid with it! It covers any discoloration I may have in the morning, any reddness even helps to set my undereye concealer after those long nights. Most importantly it doesn’t enhance any dry patches on my parched face!

2-NVEY ECO  Organic Eye Erase. (Medium)

Now the medium in this line is very yellow, which my naturally olive skin works pretty well with believe it or not. I use this product mainly under my eyes after those long nights and it just gives me the perfect amount of brightness. Also I find this great to use on any red spots that may occur on your face.  This product is certified organic, has no mmineral oils, preservative free and an amazing blend of essential oils to help nourish your skin.

3-Origins Organics Lip Balm.

97% Organic USDA cer-tee-fied! As a slowly become greener each day I find the importance of choosing lip products that are more on the natural side because think about it, how much lip gloss/stick/balm do you ingest a year?  Ew. So with that being said this shea butter and cocoa based lip balm is perfect to smooth out your dry lips and keep you healthy on the inside.  NOTE: because this is a Shea and Cocoa butter base at a pure form it is a bit of a harder stick that does need to be warmed up, but once it gets warm on your lips it will stay for a few hours giving your pucker immense hydration.

4-Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil (Zero)

The name says it all, this pencil glides smoothly on the skin and water line (you know that area above your lower lashes) and it lasts all day..sometimes night if you don’t wash it off.

5-Altoids.

Yes seriously. You never know who your going to meet.
